Our Story
CAFÉX opened in 2019 on the east side of the 6th Street Bridge — a place where commuters, creatives, and neighbors all pass through every day. We wanted a space that felt like a pause rather than a pit stop.
Every coffee is sourced from roasters who practice sustainable farming and pay fair prices. Every juice is pressed the same day, with no concentrates, no shortcuts. Our kitchen makes everything in-house — muffins, granola, avocado toast — because we believe food should taste like it came from a kitchen, not a freezer.

I've been coming here every morning for two years. The cold brew on nitro is the only thing that makes 7 a.m. bearable, and the baristas actually remember my order.
Finally a coffee shop in Sac that doesn't try to be a co-working space. It's quiet, the coffee is genuinely good, and the avocado toast is worth the walk.
The juice bar is incredible — I get the Green Glow every week and it's the closest thing to feeling healthy that I allow myself. Plus the space is so calming.

We sit on the east side of the 6th Street Bridge — the pedestrian walkway between downtown Sacramento and the Land Park neighborhood. Hard to miss if you're walking, easy to miss if you're driving (we're not on the road).
